Research Ethics Committee (VLREC) was established under Decision No. 1340/QĐ-ĐHVL dated 07/09/2022 and No. 412/QĐ-ĐHVL dated 04/4/2023 by the President of Van Lang University. VLREC is an advisory unit to the President on the following:

1. Evaluate and approval to ethical standards in the deployment of scientific research projects funded or lead by Van Lang University when necessary or required.

2. Monitor and evaluate the compliance with integrity standards while concurrently preventing research misconduct at the University or related to the University.
